Important information and service – Our General Terms and Conditions

2. Prices

The prices stated on the Internet or our catalogue are valid as of the day of publication or an expressly stated date and contain the legal VAT valid for the day of publication or the stated date. Our invoices list the net price for the goods as well as the VAT as total sum.

Campaign or offer prices for individual, especially advertised articles (e.g. offer of the week etc.) are only applicable to the stated terms and only to the orders received during this term.

After expiration of the offer term there is no right to a special price.

A minimum order value of € 20.00 is applicable to the Federal Republic of Germany. For orders abroad a minimum order value of € 25.00 is applicable. We bill the minimum order value for orders with a lesser goods order value. 

5. Delivery

We usually dispatch ordered goods to transport to the customer within 48 hours after receipt and confirmation. This period is delayed by Sundays and holidays.
The processing time can also be prolonged for example by missing goods or credit assessments in single cases. You are informed in case of such delays. We carry the risk for damage or loss of the goods on the transport way to the customer. Damages in transit are to be complained immediately, on the time of access of the product, by the deliverer. Also TIEKIDS has to be immediately informed, in written form, about the damages.

6. Shipment and costs 

The shipment of ordered goods is done within the Federal Republic of Germany via mail or comparable parcel service. We make effort to use the most cost effective transport option. In addition to the purchase price of the goods we bill shipping costs per order amounting to € 5.85 including VAT. We offer free shipping for order values above € 120.00.
Deliveries abroad are processed via international service provider companies. See 'International'. 

7. Payment

Within the Federal Republic of Germany we generally only deliver after receiving a bank debit paper or for cash upon delivery. Discounts are not granted. Deviating regulations like for example delivery for invoice are only valid if we confirmed them in writing. In case of delivery for cash upon delivery we bill the actually accruing fees of the service provider company. Single agreements with the customer about a change are possible. See  'International'.

In case of an effective cancellation, the mutually received services are to be returned and possibly derived benefits (e.g. advantages of usage) shall be handed out. In case of a worsening of the goods, you must pay us damage compensation insofar applicable. This is not applicable for the surrender of objects if the worsening is only due to the examination of the object as would have been possible to you in a store. Apart from that you can avoid the obligation to value compensation for a proper use of the object by not using the object as your property and refraining from all actions that reduce its value.

9. Reservation of title

The delivered goods remain our property up to full payment. 

10. Guarantee

Should delivered items show apparent material or manufacturing defects, which also include transport damages, please inform us immediately of such defects. The legal term of guarantee is 2 years and commences with the transfer of the goods. During this time, all defects that are subject to the legal guarantee obligation are eliminated free of charge. At first, your guarantee claims are limited to supplementary performance. After failure of the supplementary performance you may choose between a reduction of the purchase price and cancellation of the contract for reimbursement of the purchase price.

Caused by production, there may be slight colour deviations in the woven furs we offer, which are not defects in the sense of the guarantee obligation. 

11. Data protection 

All personal data is generally handled confidentially. The data necessary for business processing are saved and disclosed to service provision partners in the framework of the order processing (forwarding agencies, credit institute for payment processing). If applicable, your address and credit data is forwarded to the Credit Bureau and further information service providers for credit assessment and credit monitoring. The data you give us is treated under adherence of the legal regulations. A further disclosure of your data to third parties is not done without your express agreement.

13. TIEKIDS INTERNATIONAL

These following conditions are only applicable to deliveries outside of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The minimum order value is € 25.00. In case of a lower goods order value we bill the minimum order value.

a) Delivery

Immediately after receipt of your order, you will receive a confirmation with statement of the shipping costs and the total amount of your order. For faster processing, please state an email address. After receipt of our confirmation you can order payment. We send the ordered and paid goods on the second working day after payment receipt. We will inform you in case of unexpected delays. Should we not be able to deliver within 8 days after receipt of your payment, you have the right to cancel your order. We will return your payment. 

b) Shipping and costs

The shipment of ordered goods is done outside of the Federal Republic of Germany via mail or a comparable parcel service. We always make effort to use the most cost effective transport option. In addition to the purchase price of the goods, we bill the following shipping fees per order: 

-- for a goods value up to € 75.00 = € 14.00
-- for a goods value over € 75.00 to € 200.00 = € 16.00
-- for a goods value over € 200.00 we offer free shipping.

c) Payment

Deliveries outside of the Federal Republic of Germany are only performed for advance payment. A deviating regulation is only valid if it was confirmed by TIEKIDS in writing. We confirm your order immediately after receipt and give you information about the shipping costs and the total amount of your order. No discount is given. Please pay via bank transfer to TIEKIDS/Annette Pöttgen at

Please do not use cheques. Next to high bank fees, processing takes very long. 

14. Applicable law

German law is exclusively applicable to the contract concluded between TIEKIDS/Annette Pöttgen and the customer and the thereby created legal relationship.
